Dakota Camera - Dissasembly Part 1
The first step in disassembling this guy is cracking the case. All screws are the phillips head type. I used a 2.0mm #0 I picked up at American Science & Surplus.
Start by removing the batteries, then the two bottom screws (1 and 2).
Next, remove the sticker that covers the side interface. That would be the 'Camera does not connect to home computers' sticker. Then remove the single screw (3) previously coverd by the sticker.
Holding the camera with the bottom up, start to seperate the halves.
Once the case starts to open, remove the battery cover.
Continue to pull the halves until the front seperates completely. Keep an eye on the top button as it's free floating.
