Dakota Camera - Dissasembly Part 3

Now onto the fun part. We'll remove the main PCB from the plastic housing.




We need to remove two screws (7 and 8), two big-headed screws holding the PCB down (9 and 10), and one screw hiding under the battery case(11).





First remove the two easy screws (7 and 8).





Now remove the first screw holding the PCB down (10) on the top left side. You can leave the power switch alone. It's the top right screw in the picture. It's a pain if you mess with it like I did.




Remove the second screw holding the PCB down (9). The screws labeled 7 and 8 were removed above. The other screws, not labeled in the pics, can be left alone. They're holding the CMOS sensor down.

The last screw. You can't really see it here, but the hole in the battery case allows screwdriver access to the screw. Use a magnetized screwdriver, or a dab of hot glue on the tip to keep the screw from falling someplace 'BAD'.
