The last step is to remove the battery case. This allows us easy access to the solder points.

Remove the two screws from the underside of the PCB (12 and 13).
They're removed in this pic. Use your imagination.

Remove the two screws from the side of the battery case (14 and 15). You might notice some extra solder and a color changing wire in this pic. Ignore both.

The battery case removed. You don't have to remove the small PCB from the silver contacts as it's possible to break the green wire. Hence, the black wire here.

At long last, the gold finger sweetness. Those are our solder points!
