Perl is a procedural scripting language used for text processing and CGI scripts. It's one of the 'P's in LAMP and is the scripting language of choice when bash won't do...
Install
There are two main binary Perl ports for win32; ActivePerl and PxPerl.
Alternatly, you can build from source if you've got MinGW installed with dmake in your path.
Head over to Active State and grab the latest installer.
Click the 'Get ActivePerl' link under the lizard, then the 'Free Download' link.
Finally click continue when asked for contact details.
Since it's a windows installer, just double click the executable when downloaded.
