Mouse Mod - Testing
OK. Plug her back in. If you don't get a happy blue light when you move the mouse re-check your soldering. If you get bad tracking or the light starts to fade out check the specs of your LEDs. Here's my happy little guy:

I've done four of these so far. All worked fine except the first one. I kept desoldering and resoldering the LED while trying different types. Eventually I melted the PCB. Doh!
Note: I've since brought the dead back to life! By using a nearby solder point (the square on the left of the leftmost solder point), I managed to solder around the trouble spot.
