PacMan

As a huge fan of both Penny Arcade and PacMan, I drool over the t-shirt Gabe wears... So why not make a wallpaper of it?




The start... a wide open yellow background with a big circle in the middle. Let's face it PacMan isn't that hard to do...



To cut the wedge out for the mouth I used the path tool and made three points. I then used the 'select from path' to get a selection. This is on a single layer (I was lazy...) To make sure top and bottom are symmetrical, I did just the top half then copied it to the bottom.




The wedge about to be filled with the yellow. The bucket tool would work just as well.




Next I stroke the path (ooh, baby!) with a solid yellow line of 2 pixels. If the edges still look blocky, try 2.5 pixels.




The wedge cut out. What you don't see is that I ended up selecting the top half of the circle, making a copy and flipping it to form a symmetrical bottom.




Lastly, we add the pac pellet. It's a circle. In case ya didn't know...
